Winter has well and truly arrived in the Wairarapa!
I 'maned' the Craft Country store on Saturday and Sunday of last weekend and thought that I was about to fall to hypothermia because I was so cold. I had the heater switched on but having the door open meant that all the heat got sucked out. When a customer said that it was colder in the shop than it was outside I decided it was time to close the front door. The only problem with that though was that no more customers came in but at least I was warm for the last two hours the store was open. Thank goodness I came home to Ian and a roaring fire!
It will be the shortest day here this Friday and I can't wait... it will mean that Winter will be on the way out and Spring will be that little bit closer. But it's a great time to be at home by the fire knitting all evening long.
Given the cool temperatures at the moment it becomes very necessary to dress appropriately and with that in mind I thought that I would share some of thee photos of winter appropriate undergarments for men which various friends have e-mailed to me...
Black, Red and White never looked so... classic!
Red and White were the colours of Poverty Bay... the province I grew up in but somehow I don't think that this would be a reresentative sports strip.
Possibly a Valentines Day treat... or not!
I really don't want to follow all those arrows... even if they say that Black is a sliming colour!
Finally... I'm really not sure what the real Dumbo would have to say about this.
I plan on staying warm this winter but it won't be by wearing any of those!
O M G...and that on a MONDAYMORNING!!!!

Hard to picture heading into winter weather ... and the need for woolies! ... as it's just heading into summer here in the north! I'm way behind in my blog reading, so Miss Boots and I send our belated condolences on the loss of Jazz the Wondercat. I know my life would be terribly empty without Miss Boots, so I'm sure you and everyone who got to know Jazz miss him. Cheers!
